The answers will come on your first or second visit usually depending on the complexity of your condition(s).
Upon entering our office our receptionist will greet you and welcome you as a practice member. In order for the doctor to best serve you, it is in your best interest to fill in the patient forms as thoroughly as possible. Dr. Burr believes that knowing all that he can about the patient is paramount in getting an accurate assessment and therefore optimum results.
Next you will have a private consultation with Dr. Burr to discuss your health related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options. Your consultation with Dr. Burr is for him to listen to you to better understand you and your condition to determine expectations of the best form of action to get you your desired results.
If you and the doctor agree to perform the next step, the examination, he may perform simple to do chiropractic, orthopedic, and neurological tests to determine your underlying cause of your symptoms. The goal being, if you can pinpoint the exact cause you will be fixing the problem and not just covering up the symptoms. Dr. Burr may or may not order other testing such as x-rays. That is determined on an individual basis.
The report of findings is where Dr. Burr spends extra time with you to discuss your history, goals, examination findings, and recommendations. If you have a condition that requires care with other providers, he will tell you. If Dr. Burr feels in his professional chiropractic opinion that he can help you, he will make specific treatment recommendations along with a review of your costs.

The treatment is interactive with you so you can express any concerns you have about the care and what you will be the most comfortable with.
